ANNABEL'S PARTNERS WITH PATRÓN TEQUILA TO SAVE THE RAINFOREST

Annabel’s for The Amazon is an initiative that marks a special commitment by The Caring Family Foundation to making positive change to the Amazon rainforest. Working closely with One Tree Planted, Annabel’s for the Amazon directly contributes to the replanting of the rainforest whilst emphasising the significance and importance of the deforestation crisis.

The Caring Family Foundation and One Tree Planted aim to plant one million trees by March 2023, equating to approximately 600 hectares of forest restored, equivalent to 4.2 Hyde Parks. Annabel’s has partnered with PATRÓN tequila to create a limited-edition bottle of Reposado tequila priced at £85 and sold exclusively at Selfridges. Each bottle will plant 22 trees!

The design of the recyclable bottle and box pays homage to the natural beauty of the Brazilian Rainforest and Annabel’s simultaneously. A distinct nod to The Jungle Bar is visible - the bottle features some of the stunning hand-drawn illustrations that line the mirrored-panel walls of the iconic room.

In addition to the limited-edition bottle, three PATRÓN tequila ‘Amazon Cocktails’ are available at Annabel’s this month, with each planting an additional 10 trees: Amazon Slipper, Paloma Verde and El Dorado Colada.

On Thursday 30 September 2021, Annabel’s will host celebrities, members and world-renowned environmentalists for the Annabel’s for The Amazon event. This now annual global charity event will bring together Annabel’s members, international celebrities and key environmentalists in a huge philanthropic drive to help save the Amazon rainforest.
