CHRISTIE'S & GEORGE: TWENTY YEARS IN MAYFAIR AUCTION EVENING AT ANNABEL'S

Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Zoe Zimmer, Nina Suess, Elliot Edusah and Zenouska Mowatt attend an evening to celebrate the launch of the online charity auction with Christie’s ‘George: Twenty Years in Mayfair’ to benefit The Caring Family Foundation. 

On Tuesday 21st March, guests including YOU actors Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Zoe Zimmer, Nina Suess, Elliot Edusah, Zenouska Mowatt, Richard Caring and Patricia Caring, Co-Founders of The Caring Family Foundation and Co-chairs of The Birley Clubs attended an exclusive evening to celebrate private members Club George in Mayfair and Christie’s online charity sale George: Twenty Years in Mayfair, which closes for bidding on 28th March. 100% of the final sales from the auction will be donated to The Caring Family Foundation, and its continued efforts to tackle domestic abuse, child poverty and deforestation in the UK and Brazil.

Held at Annabel’s, the much-loved George team including Club Director Daniele Maccarone, took over The Nightclub to give Members and guests a taste of what's to come when George reopens this Summer. Event highlights included the first ever DJ set from none other than Richard Caring, Co-Chairman of The Birley Clubs whose set included classics from Elvis Presley, Ray Chalres, Dean Martin, Etta James, Daft Punk, Elton John and Janet Jackson. Members and guests were treated to an exclusive preview of two new cocktails and canapés from Executive Head Chef Marcus Eaves ahead of the upcoming reopening.

George: Twenty Years in Mayfair, is a celebration of George, ahead of the club’s relaunch this summer after a year long renovation. Containing over 71 lots, the collection comprises entirely of works that adorned George’s walls before closing for the refurbishment. Tonight’s event allowed guests to view the lots, which include Tracy Emin’s unique blue and white neon I’m a Rare Bear, 2014; the original Dachshund linocut designed for George by Hugo Guinness, which became the Club’s much-loved logo; and a notable array of prints and exhibition posters by David Hockney.
