JULIETTES INTERIORS TRANSFORM A KNIGHTSBRIDGE PROPERTY

“In order to arouse interest, a rental property must exude luxury.” - Juliette

Introducing: Juliette’s Interiors

Juliettes Interiors offer full design including architectural to property build and project management, or “simply special design” at the lower end of their services. Juliettes Interiors also offer luxury furniture and a luxurious Show Home Collection, a carefully-selected collection of furniture to offer a fine balance between the mid-range budget, but with the luxurious and exclusive look. The collection is ideal for customers with second homes or rental properties they want to be more up market for maximum rental yields, standing out from the “normal cheap rental furniture”.

Case Study: Onslow Gardens, Knightsbridge

Juliettes Interiors have been busy working on a series of stunning interior design projects, including a one bedroom rental property in Onslow Gardens, Knightsbridge. Despite being in a very sought-after area, the tired, uninspiring apartment was proving difficult to rent. Juliettes Interiors have transformed the space in their signature interior design style, which Juliette describes as “opulent and glamorous”.

For this interior design project was to update, freshen and “get the look”, without the ultra high-end, designer price tag. Timing was of the essence on this interior design project, as the client needed the property back on the rental market as quickly as possible.

Juliettes Interiors undertook full project management, giving a seamless service from the initial design, right through to the final completion. The full project included internal and external renovations, decoration and flooring, plus refurbishment of the bathroom and balcony.

‘There is no shortage of luxury rental property in Knightsbridge,’ says Juliette. ‘Rents are high and the clientèle is discerning. In order to arouse interest, a rental property must exude luxury and it must look like a high end home. The style needs to be enticing, welcoming and it has to look the part - this is Knightsbridge after all.’

The interior design team chose a soft, muted colour palette to create warmth and to appeal to the widest range of tenants possible. Splashes of colour, pattern and personality were added in the form of soft furnishings and accessories, which can easily be swapped around to add interest or to change the look entirely.

Each item of luxury furniture is exquisite and finished to a world class standard - perfect for the high-end rental market and sourced specifically for this property.

The bedroom was dull and uninteresting but a few carefully-chosen pieces of luxury furniture, some fabulous lighting, tantalising textiles, and – quite simply – a feature bed, made all the difference.

‘Budget was always a consideration for this property, so the interior design project was carefully planned to make the most of existing features,’ says Juliette. ‘The bathroom appeared dated, but a quick facelift gave it a sleek, contemporary look.’

‘The pièce de résistance has to be the living area. It is amazing what a talented interior designer can do, taking it from neglected bachelor pad style to a stunning, airy, inviting space,’ says Juliette. Her talented team have created a relaxing living room, dining area and home office. This result is a modern, eye-catching and ready-to-rent luxury apartment.

An Exceptional Customer Journey

During the initial consultation, the team at Juliettes Interiors will talk to the client to find out a little about them, the property, the scope of the project, budget, and the ideas that they have. They visit the property with the client wherever possible, although this can also be done online. The team like to have a good overview of both the property itself and the clients’ tastes, preferences and needs.

From there, inspirational visuals and mood boards are produced, based on all the information gathered. Once the look, feel and theme have been decided, Juliette’s Interiors will work on spatial planning, floor plans and elevations so that the client can see how specific furniture will work in the space. 3D visuals show the customer just how each room will look.

Budget planning and procurement are next. Although Juliettes Interiors already have an extensive range of beautiful, designer furniture, they are also specialists at sourcing exclusive, one-off pieces or designing bespoke items. Some clients like to be very involved throughout this whole process. Others are happy to agree the budget and put their trust in us to complete the project, including appointment of contractors, full project management, logistics and installation. Juliettes Interiors are happy to be involved at any or every stage of the process, depending on the client’s wishes. Clients can expect a seamless journey from their initial idea, to final completion.
