Mayfair Art Weekend, the annual celebration of the world’s internationally renowned gallery district, will take place this autumn from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th October 2020. The new and extended programme of events throughout October include the inaugural: Mayfair Sculpture Trail, May Fair Showreel and Mayfair Gallery Publication Award.

The Mayfair Sculpture Trail will take place from 1st - 31st October, in partnership with Art in Mayfair. An international selection of artists’ moving image artworks can be viewed at the screening of the curated May Fair Art Weekend Showreel on Sunday 4th October. Hosted by The May Fair Hotel, in their world renowned May Fair Theatre, Mayfair Art Weekend has just announced an open call for this new event, with artworks selected to be shown alongside works nominated from galleries across Mayfair.

The inaugural Mayfair Gallery Publication Award emphasises the important contributions made by Mayfair’s galleries to art research and the art world’s book trade. The winning publication, chosen by a panel of judges including journalist Hettie Judah, the RA Magazine’s editor Sam Phillips, and Apollo Magazine’s editor Thomas Marks, will be announced on 31 October.
