COMING SOON: NOVIKOV’S MAYFAIR CHRISTMAS MARKET RETURNS FOR ITS ELEVENTH YEAR

There are few more enchanting ways to begin the festive season than with a little Christmas magic in Mayfair. Returning for its eleventh year, Novikov Restaurant & Bar’s Christmas Market transforms Mayfair Place into a snow-covered winter village from 26th to 28th November, bringing together exceptional food, Champagne, independent makers and a generous sprinkling of seasonal sparkle.

Just off Berkeley Street, the three-day market offers a rather glamorous alternative to the traditional Christmas fair. Novikov’s Italian and Asian kitchens take to the open air, serving everything from pasta finished in a wheel of Parmesan and slow-roasted porchetta to lobster rolls, Rock Shrimp Tempura and truffle chips. At the centre of it all, a whole tuna is carved to order, with sashimi, nigiri, oysters and caviar adding a distinctly Mayfair touch.

For those in search of something to sip, the Louis Roederer Champagne Ice Bar promises a suitably celebratory stop, while mulled wine and seasonal cocktails offer a little warmth. Roaming musicians, afternoon carols and evening DJs provide the soundtrack, with snow falling throughout the market.

Beyond the culinary delights, a curated selection of independent makers and luxury brands offers thoughtful Christmas gifts, from alpaca knitwear and handmade perfumes to jewellery, antiques and personalised treasures.

Families are equally well catered for, with Santa welcoming visitors daily and his live reindeer making a special appearance on Saturday 28 November.

Open from 11am to 9pm daily, the market is free to enter, with no booking required. A festive Mayfair tradition, it is one to add to the Christmas calendar.
