The Berkeley, located between Knightsbridge and Belgravia, will open its rooftop to the public in summer 2025, launching the Capri in the City pop-up on 24th May 2025. This seasonal offering will feature a Riviera-themed menu of cocktails and dishes inspired by Capri's coastline, set amongst lemon trees and panoramic city views. In collaboration with Malfy Gin and curated by Bars Manager Marcello Cauda, the pop-up will highlight drinks such as the ‘Azzurro di Capri’ gin and tonic, the ‘Capri Negroni,’ and the refreshing ‘Amalfi Gin Granita,’ along with spritzes, craft beers, wines, and Limoncello.
Capri in the City will feature a pizza oven pop-up on the rooftop, offering a selection of pizzas made tableside, including options like marinated pepper and artichoke. Generous sharing platters will highlight Italian produce with items like baby tomato and basil bruschetta and small plates of marinated octopus and classic Caprese salad. For dessert, guests can enjoy a traditional tiramisu for two or refreshing Amalfi lemon sorbet served in a lemon, accompanied by a splash of Limoncello.
Guests will access Capri in the City via a lift to The Berkeley rooftop, featuring a vibrant mural by Italian artist Chiara Perano inspired by the pool and park. Once outside, they'll enjoy views of Knightsbridge, Belgravia, and Hyde Park. The rooftop space, typically exclusive to The Berkeley guests, will be open to the public starting Saturday 24th May 2025.
Reservations are open for tables, while striped loungers will be available on a walk-in basis.
Capri in the City will be open Thursday to Sunday, 7:30pm - 11pm (last sitting at 9:30pm).
