THE BIRLEY WINE CLUB RAISES £102,000 FOR THE ‘FOOD FROM THE HEART’ CAMPAIGN
On Wednesday 8th December 2021, The Birley Wine Club welcomed guests to an evening dinner and auction in The Garden at Annabel’s, raising £102,000 for The Caring Family Foundation’s ‘Food from the Heart’ Campaign. The campaign launched in December 2020 with the aim to make a difference to the lives of children in the UK living in poverty.
Throughout December, the campaign provided 80,000 meals to children that were going hungry at Christmas and continued to feed children in need into 2021. The campaign pledges to feed children with a food delivery program that has a sustainable impact.
The evening was dedicated to Château Cheval Blanc & d’Yquem and hosted by Pierre Luton, CEO of Château Cheval Blanc & Château d’Yquem himself (photographed above). Guests enjoyed four courses paired with complimenting wines, with the highlight of the evening being the Château Cheval Blanc Vintages.
