WINNIE HARLOW & SABRINA ELBA WILL CO-HOST ANNABEL'S FOR THE AMAZON
In partnership with The Caring Family Foundation for One Tree Planted, Sabrina Elba and Winnie Harlow have been announced as co-hosts for the inaugural Annabel’s for The Amazon, taking place at world-famous private member’s club Annabel’s on Thursday 30th September.
Model and activist Winnie Harlow said: “The Amazon Rainforest is the lungs of the world, so deforestation is something we all need to take responsibility for across the globe. I’m honoured to co-host Annabel’s for The Amazon and to add my support to this very worthwhile cause. I hope to help educate and highlight the scale of this issue and to inspire people to get behind it too.”
Model, Activist and UN Goodwill Ambassador Sabrina Elba added: “The COVID pandemic has hit the world hard, but for some - especially those already battling significantly challenging times - the level of hardship they’re now experiencing is unimaginable. We need, more than ever, to do what we can to raise awareness and invest in on-the-ground projects - as spearheaded by The Caring Family Foundation with One Tree Planted - that not only create direct economic opportunities, but will also safeguard the livelihoods of hundreds of local families for years to come.”
