CHARLIE'S AT BROWN'S LAUNCH A NEW SERIES OF FOOD & WINE DINNERS

Charlie’sthe restaurant at Brown’s will be hosting a series of exclusive food and wine dinners led by the restaurants Chef Director and Michelin-starred Adam Byatt. Charlie’s is a quintessential contemporary British restaurant in Mayfair named after Lord Charles Forte, which opened to excellent reviews in Autumn 2019.

The series will kick off in February with a delectable menu celebrating the most luxurious of seafood with Sea Urchins, Fine and Rare Oysters – sourced from Galicia and the British Isles. April will welcome English Asparagus – showing off its capacity to lift dishes to another level with poached halibut and langoustines. The June dinner will honour one of UK’s finest ingredients – the English Blue Lobster and in September – Long Legged Grouse will take centre stage – this menu will celebrate this wonderful game bird indigenous to the UK. October – will see The Balmoral Red Deer – sourced from the Balmoral Estate in the West Highlands of Scotland. To finish off the series to spectacular affair in December, this dinner will present a variety of dishes using both winter black and coveted Umbrian white truffles in generous measures.

The quality of the produce at Charlie’s and its provenance is paramount and in celebration of this, Charlie’s series of food and wine dinners celebrate the fabulous suppliers Adam and his team use in the UK and around the World. Each dinner will rejoice and respect the chosen ingredient and will be carefully matched with wines selected by the hotel’s head Sommelier.   • Tuesday 16 June 2020: English Blue Lobster

  • Tuesday 22 September 2020: Long Legged Grouse

  • Tuesday 20 October 2020: Balmoral Red Deer

  • Tuesday 8 December 2020: Black and White Truffle
