COMING SOON: EXCLUSIVE CHEF HAYASHI RESIDENCY AT BROWN'S HOTEL

I have more good news for Mayfair foodies! From Tuesday 28th January to Saturday 8th February 2020, Brown’s Hotel will present a unique culinary pop-up with renowned Japanese chef, Daisuke Hayashi. Chef Daisuke Hayashi runs celebrated restaurant, Kikunoi Hunton in Kyoto which revels Kaiseki or kaiseki-ryōri cooking - a traditional multi-course Japanese style of dining, marked by its unique dishes featuring fresh, seasonal produce.

Ahead of the opening of his new restaurant, Roketsu, scheduled to launch in spring 2020 in Mayfair, Chef Hayashi will be showcasing his forthcoming restaurant at Brown’s, recreating a traditional Japanese Tea House in one of London’s most famous tea destinations. Chef Hayashi is one of the only masters of the Kaiseki tradition globally, and the first to bring this spectacular form of Japanese cuisine to London.

With only ten seats available, guests can expect and intimate and exclusive dining experience. An eight course tasting menu will be prepared by Chef Hayashi in front of guests, further elevating this unique culinary journey. An organic, stone milled, single-varietal matcha tea will finish off the evening. A full drinks selection will be available, including sake and Japanese beers.


The pop-up residency will take place in The Drawing Room of Brown’s Hotel from 28 January until 08 February, excluding Sunday 03 and Monday 04 February. Bookings are now open. Price: £165 per head.
