CLARIDGE'S 2017 CHRISTMAS TREE WILL BE DESIGNED BY KARL LAGERFELD
I have been eagerly anticipating the announcement of who will be designing the Claridge's Christmas tree this year! London’s legendary Mayfair hotel has announced that its eighth famous annual Christmas Tree will be designed by non other than Karl Lagerfeld; widely regarded as one of the fashion world’s most influential creative forces. In addition to being the creative director of the Chanel and Fendi fashion houses, he is also overseeing the creative direction of his iconic signature brand, KARL LAGERFELD. Is there anything Lagerfeld CAN'T do?
The Claridge’s Christmas Tree has long been a seasonal landmark and symbolises the start of the festive season in Mayfair and beyond, drawing visitors and Londoners alike to admire its design. The tree will be unveiled in the hotel lobby on the morning of Wednesday 22nd November, 2017. Commenting on the collaboration Karl Lagerfeld said “Christmas trees are the strongest ‘souvenir’ of my happy childhood.”
