CONTEMPORARY ARTIST ANNA SUDBINA JOINS MAYFAIR ART CONSULTANCY
Mayfair Art Consultancy is proud to be representing Anna Sudbina, a talented Russian artist based in London. Sudbina’s paintings depict pieces of frayed reality, artfully combined with areas of pure gestural abstraction. Her work is sold internationally and is in private collections of the likes of Suzanne Brenner (The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York), Brigitte Stepputtis (Global Head of Couture at Vivienne Westwood) and Vincent Feng (Multi Golden Melody Award nominated lyricist).
The Dance of Two Cities, Anna Sudbina
Sudbina came of age in the post-Soviet Russia where she studied art, linguistics, philosophy, and psychology. While studying at Central Saint Martins, Sudbina then began to combine her training in academic drawing and painting, which she had studied under the esteemed Moscow artist Maria Burganova, with the freedom of abstraction.
Promise of Magic, Anna Sudbina
Sudbina offers bespoke art commissions and enjoys being pushed outside of her comfort zone. Commissions can be based on existing paintings if the client likes a particular painting but need a different size / it has sold / they like the style of a painting but want to customise the elements or colour scheme. Clients might also want to create something completely new and unique based on their own ideas, but in Sudina’s art style.

Commenting on her sources of inspiration for new artworks, Anna Sudbina comments, “Inspiration can come from anywhere. For my ongoing ‘Interior Of The Mind’ series, I often turn to contemporary design. It is kind of going full circle. For many years, I worked closely with some of the world’s leading Architects and Interior Designers. These working environments and experiences had a big impact on my outlook, instilling an inclination toward all things high-quality and aesthetic, something that is still reflected in my use of colour, texture and compositions. I love beautiful well curated spaces.”
