This summer, Rathfinny Wine Estate has partnered with Native at Browns in Mayfair to offer guests a spectacular al fresco dining spot for Sussex Sparkling wine and small plates. The Rathfinny Garden Menu features a selection of Native’s signature small plates, expertly paired with Rathfinny sparkling wines, served in the secluded courtyard - a secret garden in the heart of Mayfair.
I have a great love for Rathfinny as I live nearby! This picturesque and thriving vineyard recently achieved B Corp status - this is a first for any grower-producer of sparkling wine globally. Native is an ideal match for Rathfinny, as they are also prioritising sustainability whilst championing British produce and craftsmanship.
The Rathfinny Garden Menu utilises local produced and foraged British ingredients. Tempting dishes include Potato Waffle with Chicken Liver Parfait & Sussex Apple paired with Rathfinny’s house sparkling wine, 2018 Classic Cuvée. The 2018 Rosé is paired with Vadouvan Carrot Hotdog, Hay Ash Honey & Curry Mayo; whilst the 2018 Blanc de Blancs has been matched with Cuttlefish Calamari, Confit Garlic & Alexander Chilli Oil. Nibbles include Native’s WildFarmed Focaccia with Confit Garlic Oil; La Latteria Burrata with Miso Bagna Cauda and Nutbourne Tomatoes, Sussex Riccotta Salata with Salsa Verde.
All summer, Rathfinny wines will be available by the glass and by the bottle in the Courtyard at Native at Browns. This includes magnums of the 2017 Classic Cuvée and 2017 Rosé Brut – perfect for sharing with friend and family groups.
