CLARIDGE’S FLOWERS BRINGS THE HOTEL’S SIGNATURE FLORAL MAGIC TO BROOKS MEWS

For years, the flowers at Claridge’s have been almost as photographed as the hotel’s famous interiors. Now, admirers no longer have to leave empty-handed. Claridge’s Flowers has opened on Brooks Mews, bringing a little of the hotel’s floral theatre to the streets of Mayfair.

Behind the shop is a working flower studio where fresh seasonal blooms arrive each morning, ready to be conditioned, arranged and wrapped by a team of six florists. British-grown flowers take pride of place alongside more exotic seasonal varieties, with dahlias, delphiniums, hellebores and hydrangeas among the blooms filling the space. Beautiful coloured glassware and artisanal vases complete the scene.

Visitors can drop in for individual stems, simply wrapped to arrange at home, or opt for one of the studio’s hand-tied bouquets. Seasonal wraps begin at £25, while signature bouquets can be ordered online from £75. For those who have ever wondered what goes on behind Claridge’s floral displays, the Brooks Mews shop offers an intimate glimpse of the craftsmanship involved, with the florists creating arrangements for hotel guests, celebrations, events and homes across London.

There is a thoughtful sustainability story behind the glamour, too. Floral green waste is collected daily throughout the year, including the hotel’s Christmas trees, before being composted near the Royal Parks and returned to UK growers within 16–20 weeks.

The space will also host Flowers After Hours, a series of evening floristry masterclasses led by the Claridge’s Flowers team, with cocktails served in suitably Claridge’s fashion.

Joining Claridge’s Bakery and the ArtSpace Café, the new shop adds another reason to wander along Brooks Mews - and perhaps the prettiest excuse yet to leave Mayfair carrying flowers.
