This October, Handel Hendrix House, the historic Mayfair home of composer G.F. Handel and rock legend Jimi Hendrix at 25 Brook Street, presents an exciting programme of music, culture, and family activities. From baroque concerts to interactive trails and exhibitions, there is something for everyone.

An Evening with Steven Devine and Conor Gricmanis
On Friday 3rd October 2025, at 18:00, visitors can enjoy an evening of baroque music with harpsichordist Steven Devine, acclaimed for his “fantastic touch and élan” (Gramophone), and rising baroque violin star Conor Gricmanis. They will perform sonatas by the pioneering composer Marco Uccellini (d.1680). Tickets are £45 and include refreshments.
Fireworks-Themed Trail for Families
Firework Trail | Handel Hendrix House
From Saturday 18th October to Sunday 2nd November, families can explore a self-led fireworks-themed trail at Handel Hendrix House. Discover a different historical firework in every room and learn about Handel’s famous Music for the Royal Fireworks, composed at Brook Street. In the museum’s learning studio, children can design their own fireworks and pin them onto a night sky, combining history with creative play.
Seasonal Talks
Every Thursday at 2pm, join a curator for Seasonal Talks to gain insight into Handel’s time in Mayfair. Each talk lasts 20 minutes and is included with general admission.
Guitar Saturday – 4th October 2025
12:00–1:00pm – Talk: “Make it Sing”
Learn how Jimi Hendrix made the Stratocaster sing, shout, and cry.
1:00–3:00pm – Brook Street Jam
Bring your guitar and join a community jam session in the museum’s studio. Tickets cost £20.
Baroque & Roll – Live Music

Enjoy live baroque music performances included with general admission.
The Jimi Sessions – Moira Mack
On Wednesday 22nd October at 18:00 & 19:15, experience The Jimi Sessions, an intimate evening of original music performed by a curated line-up of rising and acclaimed artists.
New Exhibition: Making a Home
Running until Sunday 23rd November, this exhibition showcases creative work by young people inspired by the museum’s stories. Developed in collaboration with Unfold and Play for Progress, and supported by The Linbury Trust, the exhibition highlights contemporary art and creativity in the historic Mayfair setting.
