Claridge’s has announced that British designer Dame Anya Hindmarch will bring a touch of festive magic to Mayfair this Christmas, creating the hotel’s much-anticipated annual Christmas tree. Reimagined for 2026 as the Claridge’s Christmas Treehouse, the installation will be unveiled in the hotel’s iconic lobby on Wednesday 25th November.

Set within the branches of a traditional fir tree, adorned with twinkling lights, the Christmas Treehouse will conjure a nostalgic world of fairytale adventure. Expect whimsical details, playful touches and the distinctive sense of imagination that has become synonymous with Hindmarch’s designs.

A long-standing friend of the hotel, Hindmarch has a particularly personal connection with Claridge’s, having celebrated her 21st birthday there. Speaking of the collaboration, she describes the hotel as a place of special celebrations and treasured family memories, adding that it is a great honour to create an installation that she hopes will inspire many more memorable moments for guests and visitors alike.

Claridge’s Managing Director, Thomas Kochs, welcomed the partnership, describing it as a coming together of two quintessentially British names. He also hinted that there is more to come from the collaboration, with further details expected to be revealed next year.

A much-loved fixture of London’s festive calendar, the Claridge’s Christmas tree has become an annual landmark, traditionally marking the beginning of the Christmas season in the capital. This year marks the sixteenth occasion on which the hotel has invited a distinguished guest to reinterpret its tree, with previous designers including Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Louboutin, Sir Paul Smith and Diane von Furstenberg.

The Claridge’s Christmas Treehouse promises to bring a little extra enchantment to Brook Street this November, continuing one of Mayfair’s most cherished Christmas traditions.
