SUSHI MASTER CHEF ENDO KAZUTOSHI LAUNCHES ‘ENDO AT THE BERKELEY’ POP-UP
We have an exciting new food pop-up event for your London diary! Chef Endo Kazutoshi, a third-generation sushi master and one of the original pioneers behind legendary Zuma, is set to launch an innovative pop-up sushi restaurant at The Berkeley in Knightsbridge this summer. The Sushi Master and his team will provide guests with an intimate and traditional omakase experience at the hotel running for a limited time only from 20th July to 31st August 2018.
Sushi Lovers Can Expect...
This culinary experience will take place within an especially designed space at The Berkeley,
which has been transformed for this one off occasion.
- A bespoke sushi bar for up to eight guests
- Japanese-inspired cocktails created by The Berkeley’s mixologists
- The unveiling of the hidden restaurant
- An intimate performance of Chef Endo’s culinary craftwork
The bespoke 15 course omakase menu, translating as ‘chef’s choice’, highlights the very best
of Chef Endo’s craft developed during his twenty year career with skills honed during his
time at Tokyo’s top restaurants and Zuma. The signature dishes will be made using the
freshest of ingredients from the highest quality suppliers in the UK and Japan with highlights
including Scottish scallop oshinogi, lemon sole usuzukuri and wagyu beef agemono.
Complementing the delicate dishes will be a specially curated sake and wine pairing menu for
guests to add to their experience should they wish on the night.
Chef Endo says ‘I am delighted to announce the launch of my new pop-up restaurant at The
Berkeley. Having worked with some of the world’s top chefs, the hotel’s innovative style
mirrors the creativity I bring to my dishes. I am excited to be able to share my culinary
heritage with a new audience, using some of the amazing produce from around the UK to
complement my specialist Sushi style. Londoners are always on the hunt for something a
little different in the foodie scene and we are offering just that this summer.’

further enhances our hotel’s focus on innovation whilst bringing our guests a totally new
‘Endo at The Berkeley’ in partnership with Robin Leigh’s Lord Simon Restaurants will run
every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings with two sittings each night at 6.00pm and
